Do you own a cat? Is the cat’s scratching post and kitty condo cramping your home’s modern vibe? Well here comes Kittypods. Made of industrial grade cardboard with modern contours and shapes.
Pricing in at $250 to $350, they are built to last forever and the cats love them. They
love the texture of the cardboard because it’s great for scratching,
and “they love the shapes, which are great for stretching and hiding
both in and under.”
Kitty Condos are the work of Elizabeth Paige Smith, designer of furniture and commercial
interiors. She was inspired by her own cats at a young age. Read more about her here.

There is a lot of talk about LED’s these days and the way that they are good for the environment and, a big money saver to boot. An interesting article from dwell.com talks about OLED — organic light emitting diodes, which is an up and coming TV technology.
It’s thinner than plasma and consumes less power than LCD. Of course people are starting to find out about OLED TVs, because they were the superstars of this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. Sony was the first to market one, and its 11-inch screen is a mere 3 millimeters thin. Now the bad news, It will set you back $2,500 to own one, and the life span is short. However I’m positive this will change in the not too far off future.
