There’s nothing like a warm sauna to warm up a cold winter. Just the thought of one warms my bones : )
I found a great website that sells saunas at an affordable rate. They have all kinds of saunas. Including an infrared sauna, which only heats objects in its direct path. The way that works is to picture yourself outdoors on a summer day with the sun beaming overhead. A cloud blocks out the sun. The temperature outside has not changed, but you feel cooler in the shade. The Sun’s infrared rays were heating your body. This is the way that Infrared heaters warm the body. A lot like natural sunlight. Infrared emitters in the sauna mimic and intensify this effect. This increases circulation in your body and nourishes damaged tissues, but does not have the harmful ultraviolet radiation.
Another topic covered on the website are Montreal Saunas. Montreal has a rich tradition of saunas, which begain with Finnish immigrants. These were frequented by all types of people who believed in the healing power of the steam baths. This continued until the decline of public in the late 1900`s when more people had the means of building their very own personal within their homes. This is still the case.
I recommend this website for more information.
